  Welcome to Waggoner's Square Dance Club. We are a dance club which meets weekly to enjoy the pleasure of Square Dancing to Western music and the calls of Simon and Trudy and our other club callers. We run a beginners section that dance at their own level to the calling of Eric Curtis as they learn the mainstream programme.

In addition to the weekly dance programme the club also promotes a Saturday night dance each year, featuring a guest caller and inviting the participation of dancers from other clubs.

We meet at 8pm every Monday (but see diary)

Every November Mac takes a coach to see the Christmas Spectacular held at Thursford Steam Museum . Thisfantastic show is just what it says it is – spectacular.It is the most popular Christmas show in England and is a blend of Christmas entertainment, with Christmas songs, carols, dazzling dancers, beautiful costumes, comedy and outstanding music and singing from a cast of over 100. Also there is a separate experience where you can enter a magical world of lifelike animals, snow covered trees and animated characters.

There are shops in the vicinity ranging from gift shops, Christmas items, sweets and preserves.
